The murder case of Lil Durk opened another legal battle for him. The rapper reportedly suffered an attack on his illegal death lawsuit in connection with the case.
Lil Durk faces second illegal death lawsuit
On Monday (February 24), The Chicago Sun Times reported that Andrea Laquera, mother of Quando Rondo’s late cousin, Coutin Rondo ·Andrea Laquila Robinson has filed an inappropriate death lawsuit against Durk. Last week, Andrea filed a lawsuit in Chicago’s Cook County Court. The victim’s mother claimed that his record label Durk, with only one family, and an unnamed business manager and related company (also unnamed) were responsible for the death of Saviay’a Aka aka Lil Pab, who was shot dead. Allegedly, Quando’s life attempt was conducted in Los Angeles in August 2022. Durk is charged with planning crimes.
“Mr. Robinson’s premature loss destroyed his family and community,” Andrea’s attorney Warren Postman told the New York Times. “We filed a lawsuit to keep those responsible.” responsibilities and ensure his family get the support they need during this difficult time.”

This is the second illegal death lawsuit Durk was attacked in less than a year. In October last year, FBG Duck’s mother reportedly sued Durk and King von’s property for murdering the duck. The duck was shot dead while shopping in Chicago’s Gold Coast area with his girlfriend in August 2020. Six men reportedly had connections with Durk and had been convicted.

Lil Durk awaits trial
Both illegal death lawsuits are the impact Durk faces compared to criminal cases. Lil Durk was arrested on October 24, 2024 and charged with murder. Quando was in a fight outside the Atlanta hookah lounge in November 2020.
Durk pleaded not guilty. His trial was originally scheduled to begin in January, but has since been postponed until October 14. If convicted, he faces the possibility of life imprisonment.
Durk was linked to a second murder in the unsealed indictment last December. Although he was not charged, police believe Duke is linked to Stephon Mack’s murder. The Smushville faction of Chicago’s gangster disciples may be responsible for the bank Dontay “Otf Dtang” who killed Durk’s brother in 2021.
