Lil Wayne has a few words about former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins after she mentioned Nicki Minaj in a recent broadcast.
The young founder of currency entertainment is very protective of his close friends and collaborators and has no impression of Perkins’ comments about Minaj.
The athlete-turned-are-are-dilded Minaj in recent discussions about Jimmy Butler’s move to ESPN’s Golden State Warriors.
“I think the Warriors are going out there to buy Beyoncé or Taylor Swift,” Perkins said of the industry. “They ended up getting Nicki Minaj.”

Although Perkins didn’t list Minaj as an A-lister as other female artists he mentioned, many of her fans strongly disagree, especially Weezy, who signed a New York rapper in 2009 .
Lil Wayne returned to the shadows on social media, flipping Perkins’ comments back.
“The Warriors think they’re getting Taylor Swift or Beyoncé and end up with #Kendrickperkins,” he tweeted. “Stop playing.”
In addition to Lil Wayne, Barbz, Nicki Minaj’s loyal fan base also stuck with their idol and littered his social media posts insultingly.
The strong rebound prompted Perkins to speak on social media to apologize.
“Hopefully I’ll know Barbz until my Nicki Minaj picks it up,” he wrote. “Don’t charge my heart. I’m sorry, I don’t want to not smoke!”
He also begged for forgiveness when he later made an appearance on ESPN.
“Let me apologize to Nicki Minaj and Barbz,” he said. “They were always on my ass like a pocket. I’m sorry, I’m a fan. Please forgive me. I don’t want to not smoke.”
