6ix9ine takes LA fitness company to court
On January 10, Tekashi’s attorneys filed a civil lawsuit against the gym franchise in Palm Beach County Court in Florida, according to court documents obtained by XXL on Friday (January 17). The lawsuit alleges LAF was negligent and failed to protect 6ix9ine from an attack on March 21, 2023, at a location in Lake Worth. and enforce internal policies, procedures and safeguards to protect members from criminal attacks; c) LA Fitness fails to employ adequate security personnel to deter, prevent, mitigate and/or eliminate criminal attacks, etc.
The rapper is seeking a jury trial and $1 million in damages.

6ix9ine attack spreads like virus
A video of 6ix9ine being jumped by three men in a Los Angeles gym was released in March 2023 and went viral. . After the melee, the bloodied rapper eventually left the bathroom. A week later, three men — Rafael Medina Jr., Octavius Medina and Anthony Maldonado — were arrested and charged with assaulting and robbing the rapper.
6ix9ine was later interviewed about the attack. He called the attack a cowardly act and revealed he had been taken to hospital for treatment. “I had a lot of bruises on my face, jaw, ribs. I was in the hospital for four days,” he told NBCMiami.com.
The motive for the attack was unclear.
