Lonzo Ball claims he’ll top the music of his brother LiAngelo (aka G3) on Lil Baby’s new deluxe album WHAM!
Zo made the claim on the latest episode of the What An Experience podcast with his brother Dmo and their colleague Anthony Salazar. Lonzo started the discussion by asking his co-hosts what they thought of Lil Baby’s latest project.
However, before the crew could really dig into Lil Baby’s album, Zo couldn’t help but belt out his brother’s hit “Tweaker.” When Lonzo asked his co-hosts what they thought of the album, which features heavyweights like Future and Young Thug, his constituents revealed they’d been emphasizing G3’s record over the latter.
“I’ve been banging G3 music for the last 72 hours, man,” Dmo immediately shared his preference.

Salazar echoed the sentiment, saying, “I listen to G3zy all the time.”
He added: “That’s what I’ve always been exposed to. But I did listen to Lil Baby’s album. Honestly, there wasn’t a song that really stood out to me that made me think, ‘Damn, I’m spinning on replay.’ “But you know what we’re listening to here, ZO?”
Lonzo admitted he was on the same page. “Hey, I’m not even mad at you, bro, ’cause I’m the same way,” he said in part.
Like Salazar, Zo admits he tried listening to Lil Baby’s album, though he wasn’t necessarily impressed with the LP. “I mean, I heard about Future and the Thugs,” he said. “It’s cool. I like ‘the streets are colder.’ This is cool. But honestly, those are really the only two I’ve ever taken advantage of.
When Dmo pressed him on whether he had listened to the album completely, Lonzo dropped a bombshell. “No, I don’t, but like Bank said, if I turn on my phone, it’s just G [G3]”.
Zo went on to praise his brother’s work ethic and catalog, making it clear that he’d been listening to his music long before the world took off. “I already listen to G on a regular basis every day anyway because of all the music he listens to,” he said, with LiAngelo adding, “I listen to my own voice sometimes, silly, and I love listening to it.”
Lonzo hasn’t stopped promoting his brother’s music career. “I’m not going to lie, buzz, buzz — I made G the new artist of the year in music, man,” he said. “He’s that hot, bro. I already know how much money he’s making in the coffers, so like, freshman XXL, G.
Given “Tweaker’s” online attention, Lonzo’s bold prediction for his brother might not be too far off. In addition to major artists like Moneybagg Yo and Boosie Badazz expressing interest in participating in the song’s remix, social media users also noticed that LiAngelo’s song has higher play counts than many of the releases off of Lil Baby’s new album.
