Producer Command Williams Shares New Drake Freestyle
Producer Command Williams shared a 20-minute video on his YouTube channel on Friday (January 3), which included a three-minute clip of Drake’s freestyle. The video below, now removed from YouTube, shows Drizzy rapping about the conductor’s production while appearing to read the lyrics on his phone.
“The whole world fell in love with these gimmicks, even my brothers bought the tickets/Seems like they loved every minute, just know it’s personal to us and it’s not just business,” he raps, seemingly He said it on his show. “There’s something fishy about analyzing patterns of behavior/N*ggas never happy for me when I’m running out of numbers/Or when I’m still breaking world records because I’m guzzling Guinness.”
Elsewhere in the song, Aubrey recounts a shooting at his Bridle Path home in Toronto in May that left his security guard seriously injured.
“Niggas try to light up the front door, it ain’t for Christmas/I prayed for Sean that morning, but that’s not religious,” he rhymed. 「It comes from a place of desperation and total surrender/Rappin’ is over now, it’s like a sudden decision/I don’t care about you snakes or these other musicians.
Although he didn’t mention any rappers by name, some rap fans believed Drizzy was talking about Kendrick Lamar and their grievances, with the line: “This n***a pulled a shit out of a hat Bunny, you all love magicians/It’s fun to see you all happy and hugging and kissing/What are we celebrating?
The new jam comes after Drake teased that he was working on new music in a recent Instagram post. He has also been working on releasing a joint album with PartyNextDoor over the past few months.
