Benzino assured fans and 50 Cent that he’s okay after disturbing footage surfaced showing the former Source publisher in the middle of an apparent mental health crisis.
On Wednesday (December 18), a video surfaced online showing a painful Benzino crawling on the floor and yelling. He shouted to his girlfriend, Ashley Bell, while holding a knife to his throat.
The video went viral, causing panic. However, Benzino set the record straight in an Instagram video, assuring fans that he was fine and denying trying to harm himself. According to Benzino, the apparent glitch was actually just him reading a script for an upcoming movie.
“I want everyone to know that this is a rehearsal for the Tubi movie,” Benzino claimed. “My daughter was helping me. We were reading the script and it was a rehearsal for a Tubi movie. It was a scene from the movie, okay.
Benzino also said he did not harm Bale, as some, including 50 Cent, have claimed.
“I would never lay my hands on any woman,” he added. “I’ve never done that in my life. That’s for cowards and I certainly wouldn’t do anything to hurt myself. So, shout out to anyone who cares, but I’m okay.
Benzino then talked about nemesis 50 Cent’s reaction video.
“I also want Curtis to know that he’s handsome,” he said. “Curtis, thank you for promoting me. Keep sending me messages.
He added, “Hey, post this,” while flexing his muscles for the camera.
