Mozzy and Kalan.FrFr are both prolific artists. They have released dozens of mixtapes and albums both as solo artists and as collaborators. They always have something going on. It was only a matter of time before Mozzy and Kalan.FrFr collaborated on a full album, and LUCKY HER is coming soon. The collaborative album will be released on December 20th.
“BBL” might look like a riff on the recent BBL surgery trend, or the “BBL Drizzy” meme that emerged at the height of the Drake vs. Kendrick war. However, Mozzy and Kalan.FrFr use this acronym to mean something completely different. The two are rapping about “what bad girls like” and how it’s effortless to get it for them. The instrumental is moody and nocturnal, reminiscent of the sound of the bay, with a hint of Cash Cobain’s popular “sex trap.” Rob49 delivers a memorable guest verse. Ultimately, though, this is Mozzy and Kalan.FrFr’s show. We can’t wait for the album.
