Hey haters; Maino closes out 2024 with an inspirational new EP, cleverly titled MainoVation. Known for his energetic hustler mentality, his latest effort offers inspiring affirmations built around familiar street stories that introduce a new perspective on life. “From my perspective, MainoVation is my source of inspiration and motivation,” the rap star said.
Brooklyn rap star Fabolous produced the EP with Maino. The highlight is their collaboration on “This Life 4Ever”. The pair kicked off 2024 with a few songs from “KOB 4,” Maino’s first of three albums this year. “How I’m Living” and “Poetry” in collaboration with Young Thug. The music video for “Poetry” was released in February 2024 and featured one of Young Thug’s final cameos before his arrest in 2022.
On this new album, Maino comes into his own day and embarks on a Brooklyn tour in 2024. Recognized for their community activities, impact, and more. “Hip-hop is more than a genre, it’s a way to heal, grow and give back to the communities that make us who we are,” Reynoso, the 20th Brooklyn Borough President, said last February. “Throughout Brooklyn and beyond, Maino is considered an inspiration as he demonstrated the power of hip-hop to unite us through the good times and the bad. Maino Day will celebrate his legacy and serve as a reminder Brooklynites never give up and never forget to spread the love.
