Snoop Dogg revealed on “The Jennifer Hudson Show” that he has prepared a $1 million wedding gift for his daughter Cori Broadus as she prepares to marry fiancé Wayne Du Wayne Duece is married.
The news was announced in a light-hearted clip, in which the legendary hip-hop artist and Cori shared intimate family anecdotes about her upcoming wedding and more.
Snoop revealed the extravagant move in a game called “Snoop and Corey Confessions.”
Host Jennifer Hudson prompted the rapper to share the most extravagant gift he ever gave his only daughter.
“That’s true, but the only problem with this gift is she never opened it, or she hasn’t opened it yet,” Snoopy said with a laugh. “Her wedding cost a million dollars.”
He then jokingly quipped, “If this were my wedding, I would spend $100 and $900 would go into my pocket.”
Cori and Wayne announced their engagement in November 2022, but their wedding plans faced postponement earlier this year when Cori suffered a stroke at age 25.
The couple’s journey, and the family’s preparations for the big day, are all featured in the upcoming E! The documentary series, titled “Snoop’s Dad: The Corey and Wayne Story,” will begin airing Thursday.
The episode also reveals Snoop’s past grand gestures, including a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon he gave Cori as a 16th birthday gift.
When Corey’s mother, Shante Broadus, took the car away as a form of grounding, the luxury car quickly became the center of a family inside joke.
“I don’t know what happened, but I bought her a G-Wagon for her 16th birthday, and all of a sudden, mom had a G-Wagon,” the 53-year-old said with a laugh. “It wasn’t given to her, she took it. Her grounding is disappearing.
Corey also complained good-naturedly about the incident, recalling: “She drove me to the nail salon. I said, ‘Mom, you’re freezing. You’re freezing.’
