Drake took a few shots at Kendrick Lamar and made a surprise appearance on The Weeknd during a live broadcast on Kick streamer xQc.
The OVO founder immediately addressed Lamar, who referenced their recent battle on his surprise new album, GNX.
“I’m Drake and this is xQc, a true streaming legend,” he introduced himself during the live broadcast. “I-I make music, in case you didn’t know.”
Drake then appeared to respond to Lamar’s shot, adding: “As you can see, here I am, intact. Mind, body and soul. If you were wondering, right? You It takes facts to get rid of me, fairy tales won’t do that.
During the live broadcast, Drake confirmed rumors that he will tour Australia for the first time in eight years in 2025. His tour will kick off on February 9, the same day Kendrick Lamar headlines the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show.
Drake also addressed the “heartless” Kendrick Lamar fans who attacked him in chat.
“Yelling at X’s chat, man. You guys are so heartless, man,” he said. “But, I love you so much. We all love those who talk, all those cripples who walk, man. We love you.
Still, he admitted: “That’s the way it is. It comes with the territory. You sit in front of the camera; you have to accept it.

While Kendrick Lamar’s attack was subtle, Drake’s feelings for The Weeknd were crystal clear.
“You have to change this song,” xQc said as he played “Star Boy.” “We are the real Sixers. We don’t listen to that.

Drake declares: ‘Rap music is weird right now’
Not only did Drake diss The Weeknd, he also excluded the rapper.
“I want to hear what you would listen to,” he told xQz. βRap music is weird right now anyway.β
Drake also shared some good news with fans, confirming that his upcoming album with PartyNextDoor is almost complete.
“The Me and Party album is 75 percent done,” he said. “PX is cooking right now. The album sounds incredible… This album is good; it’s the sound that people know and love us for.
