Noochie’s ‘Live From The Front Porch’ Comes to Fox Soul

Noochie’s Live From The Front Porch has found a new home on Fox Soul, it was announced on Thursday (November 21). The popular live musical will premiere its second season on the Fox Network on Thanksgiving Day. With stellar performances from stars including The Lox, Craig David, Anderson .Paak and Cordae, the show is poised to gain wider appeal. The partnership with Fox Soul will feature 14 episodes, with the possibility of more episodes in the future.

Launched in 2017, Noochie initially used the platform to showcase his improvisational performances. After connecting with 8177, he aimed to showcase black excellence through performances of music’s past, present and future. “It’s not just music. It’s about celebrating the true black experience. I want to give artists a space that feels personal, and the front porch becomes a stage for culture and raw talent. It’s a moment that pays homage to where we come from,” Noochie said. The platform joins a viral trend of live shows partnering with major labels and television networks to reach a wider audience. Season 2 will see more stars and defining moments, joining the ranks of other popular Fox series. “What’s Eating in Harlem,” “Beauty,” and “Nightcap.”

8177’s Ryan Joy expressed his enthusiasm for the new chapter. “It deserves to be shared with the world and will resonate with fans looking for authentic performances and a deeper cultural experience,” he said. 1877 co-founder Greg Gavin echoed the same sentiment, emphasizing that the show ‘s mission is to shine an authentic spotlight on black culture. “One of the things I love is making sure our culture is highlighted and not limited,” he said in the announcement.
