Mike Tyson and Jake Paul’s recent fight has been dogged by rumors that the boxing legend walked away from the fight or that it was a money grab, but according to DJ Whoo Kid, the law It is forbidden for two boxers to fight too hard.
The 58-year-old former heavyweight champion lost after eight rounds against the 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer on Friday night (November 15).
Tyson faced fierce criticism after the fight, with some claiming “Iron Mike” had lost the fight. However, DJ Whoo Kid claimed the fight failed to live up to expectations because both Tyson and Paul were subject to legal restrictions.
During a recent TikTok Live, Whoo Kid, who co-hosts the “Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson” podcast, revealed that he spoke with Jake Paul on Saturday and got some inside information.
“This is the problem; this is what happened,” he began. “Legally, they can’t attack each other. Because if Mike had hit Jake Paul, like really hit him…Jake Paul would have died. He would have died, just like if he had gone all out He would be dead.
He added: “If Jake Paul would fight Mike Tyson, I think he would kill Mike Tyson because of Mike Tyson’s age. So, the rule is they have to calm down. That’s what I heard.

Tyson told critics after losing to Paul by unanimous decision 80-72, 79-73, 79-73 that he almost died earlier this year.
“It’s one of those situations where you lose but still win. I’m grateful for last night. Don’t regret the last time I boxed,” he asserted. “I almost died in June. Already had 8 blood transfusions. I lost half my blood in the hospital, lost 25 pounds, had to work my way back up to keep fighting, so I won.
