Professional boxer Gervonta Davis had some critical words to say about Jake Paul following his fight against heavyweight champion Mike Tyson on Friday night (November 15).
Davis took to his Instagram Stories to scold the former YouTube celebrity, writing: “To the idiot who shared the ring with Mike…you idiot, you didn’t get the job done. [S###] head. He added, “One more thing, when I catch them, I’m gonna beat Jack’s brakes… uppercut j## j## left hook uppercut… uppercut .watch.

Mike Tyson went eight rounds with 27-year-old Paul but was still the target of a lot of negative comments. Shortly after the game, “The Game” posted a post on social media defending Tyson.
“I see all these weird celebrities saying Mike looks bad and it’s sad and disgusting and stuff like that,” he wrote. “You’re all stupid. I saw a 58-year-old legend play eight rounds with a 27-year-old legend in a sold-out football stadium in front of the whole world. And walk away with $20 million, his dignity and another accomplishment that he says is only his own. I’m so proud of you!
His caption read: “@MikeTyson you were my hero as a kid and nothing has changed for me since then!!!! Thank you for your contribution to culture then and now.
Davis seems to have a similar sentiment. In another Instagram post, he shared a photo of the 58-year-old champion and wrote: “You will always be a legend…Whether you like it or not it will never be another legend! I understand you so much .none of this makes any sense!
People tuned in to see how Tyson would fare against an opponent nearly two decades after his retirement. In 2005, Tyson admitted that he was not cut out for fighting at the time.
I “didn’t have the guts to do this sport anymore,” Tyson said at the time. “I don’t want to disrespect the sport I love. My heart doesn’t care about this anymore. I’m sorry to the fans who paid the price. I wish I could have done better. I want to move on with my life. It’s time to move on My life, becoming a father, taking care of my kids.
After losing to Paul, he expressed nothing but gratitude, saying: “I’m not proving anything to anyone, just myself. I’m not one of those people who wants to please the world. I’m committed to what I can do.” Feel very satisfied.
