Lil Durk faces two additional charges in a superseding indictment in his murder-for-hire case. Federal prosecutors announced the new felony on Friday (November 8).
The drill rapper is charged with one count of conspiracy, one count of using an interstate facility to commit murder-for-hire resulting in death and one count of using, carrying and discharging a firearm and machine gun and possessing such firearm in furtherance of any other purpose crime. Lil Durk, whose real name is Durk Banks, has previously been charged through a criminal complaint.
Prosecutors accuse Lil Durk of ordering an attack on Quando Rondo that resulted in the shooting death of Rondo’s cousin Lul Pab in 2022. Lil Durk’s co-conspirators Kavon Grant, Deandre Wilson, Keith Jones, David Lindsey and Asa Houston were indicted for their alleged participation in the murder-for-hire scheme.
“Mr. Banks is accused of orchestrating a cold-blooded murder that resulted in the deaths of a rival’s family,” said U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada. “Not only that, but the shooting occurred in the open, at a gas station at a busy intersection, endangering many others in the area. Violent gun crimes like these are devastating to our communities, and we will take action against those who commit such callous There is zero tolerance for violent people.

Lil Durk was arrested in Florida in October. Authorities said the killer used his money to carry out an attack on Londo in 2022. Expenses for the co-conspirators to travel from Chicago to California.

The killer follows, stalks and attempts to murder Londo. Gunfire erupted at a Los Angeles gas station. The gunman fired at least 18 rounds into Rondo’s vehicle, killing his cousin. Rondo was targeted for revenge in the 2020 murder of King Von.
Lil Durk and his fellow defendants have yet to enter pleas in their cases. They will be arraigned in the coming weeks.
