Today, Donald Trump was declared winner of the 2024 US presidential election. He spoke to supporters at a watch party in Florida after the major victory was announced by the Associated Press and other outlets. “Every citizen, I will fight for you, your families and your future,” he said in part. “Our country needs help, and it needs help badly… We’re going to fix our borders. We’re going to fix everything that’s wrong with our country.”
Unsurprisingly, the results prompted a strong response from social media users. For example, as Trump’s lead grew, Cardi B started following X. , titled “I Hate Y’all.” Just days ago, Cardi B spoke at a Kamala Harris rally in Milwaukee after she compared the vice president to “Hawk Tuah” girls make hateful comparisons.
Cardi B has had enough.
Cardi B isn’t the only celebrity to weigh in on Trump’s win, however. This morning, 50 Cent took to Instagram to share his reaction, which was very different from Cardi’s. “I don’t care how the fight goes, I’m leaving with a winner,” he captioned some photos of himself and Trump. “I still don’t know what happened 🤦 Congratulations! @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi.” Lil Pump has been an outspoken supporter of Trump for some time and his reaction became a trending topic on X.
“God bless Donald Trump. Gas will be cheaper. Taxes will be lower and life will be better,” he wrote in a tweet. In several other posts, he also criticized celebrities who have supported Harris, including Taylor Swift and Eminem. “This is the best day of my life,” he also wrote.
