Cardi B fired back at Elon Musk on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday after the site’s owner criticized her for supporting the card at a rally in Milwaukee Kamala Harris and labeled her a “puppet.” “Another puppet that can’t talk without being fed,” Musk wrote in response to a clip of her speech. “There is no authenticity or true empathy in Kamala’s campaign.”

Later that night, Cardi fired back: “I’m not Elon’s puppet… I’m the daughter of two immigrant parents who had to work their butts off to support me! I’m a product of welfare, I’m Section 8 A product of, I’m a product of poverty, I’m a product of what happens when the system is set up against you…but you don’t know anything about it, you don’t know. .

During her speech, Cardi reflected on her previous comments about not wanting to endorse any candidate while Joe Biden was still in the race. “I have no confidence in any candidate until she runs and says what I want to hear and what I want to see next in this country,” she explained. “I believe every word that comes out of her mouth. She is passionate, compassionate, empathetic and most importantly, not delusional. Kamala recognizes that this country is in danger. The economy needs it. Becoming stronger while the cost of food and living is too high.
