Details of the Diddy case are slowly emerging. The bad boy mogul’s trial isn’t set to begin until 2025, but TMZ recently revealed explosive information about his alleged “crazy” parties. TMZ claims Diddy asked people attending his parties to sign non-disclosure agreements. This contract ensures that any activity that occurs will not be shared. If so, Diddy will be able to take legal action. Additionally, the confidentiality agreement stipulates that no attendee may record or film other attendees.
The outlet described the NDA used by Diddy as fairly standard. However, the conditions of the NDA took on a sinister tone given the harrowing allegations made against him. Partygoers may not share information about Diddy, his business associates or his family. They cannot record or take photos, nor can they hire someone to record or film the events of the party. The confidentiality agreement also lists the names of social media sites that do not allow attendees to post details about their experiences.
Diddy’s NDA reportedly lasted 70 years
Aside from visual media, celebrities who allegedly attended Diddy’s parties were unable to talk about them in interviews. They are also prohibited from writing about them in their memoirs unless they have the express written consent of Didi herself. The length of the confidentiality agreement ensured that details of Diddy’s alleged exploits would not be revealed during his lifetime. TMZ reports that the agreement is valid for the artist’s lifetime plus 20 years. Alternatively, the agreement could last for 70 years, depending on which comes first.
Despite Diddy’s attempts to cover it up, legally speaking, people recounted their partying experiences. John Legend’s agent, Tay Stickloris, told The New York Times that she was taken to a bedroom by Diddy’s co-workers and locked the door behind her. The party was allegedly held in 1997, and Stiklorius told the media she managed to escape the seemingly dangerous situation. “To this day, I don’t remember how I managed to escape this horrific situation,” she explained. “Maybe it was my nervous gibbering.” Sean Combs is a man currently charged with sex trafficking and racketeering.
