Chris Brown documentary features woman who accused him of rape

A new documentary from Chris Brown follows a woman who accused the singer of rape as she recounts her alleged sexual assault by Brown on Diddy’s yacht in 2020.

On Sunday (October 27), the new documentary “Chris Brown: A History of Violence” premiered on Investigation Discovery. The new documentary focuses on the singer’s past legal troubles, specifically allegations that he assaulted Rihanna in 2009, and delves into more allegations. In one chapter, a woman named Jane Doe who has sued the singer tells the story of being allegedly raped by Brown at a Star Island party on Diddy’s yacht.

The woman who sued Brown in 2022 claims she met Brown at a party and had a conversation about her aspiring dance career. After drinking multiple drinks that Brown gave her, she claimed she became drowsy.

“I remember I was literally laying down and I was like, ‘Why can’t I stand up?'” she said, according to The Hollywood Reporter “The next thing I knew he was on top of me and I couldn’t move and I said ‘no’ , and then I felt him…and the next thing I knew he was inside me.”

Jane Doe did not accuse Diddy of any wrongdoing.

Jane Doe originally sued Chris Brown in January 2022.

Brown responded to the accusation on Instagram, “I hope y’all can see the pattern. [cap]”, he wrote on Instagram Stories. “Every time I release music or projects, ‘they’ try to bullshit me.

In March 2022, Doe’s attorney, Ariel E. Mitchell, reportedly withdrew from the case after Miami police reportedly found text messages from Doe’s phone in which she stated The singer called him “Baby” and texted him “Miss you” the day after the incident. However, Mitchell confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that she has rejoined the case.
