NARCY is a host who consistently takes a stand against injustice. Overall, the Montreal artist is a creative through and through. He doesn’t mind taking artistic risks, especially if they help enhance his message. For example, he was one of the first artists to make a music video entirely using artificial intelligence. It’s even more impressive when you realize that he did this before the 2023 ChatGPT craze. The course made headlines a few years ago.
Through all of these efforts, Naci still found time to make music. Today, for example, he drops “Sword,” a thoughtful, politically charged song that features a red veil. The song contains melancholy yet uplifting production, with gorgeous strings throughout. The music perfectly matches the imagery of the music video as we see many people trying to live their daily lives in a war torn area. The lyrics speak of war crimes and destruction in the Middle East. The situation in Israel and Palestine has been catastrophic for decades, and it has placed a heavy burden on many artists. Nassy does a great job of resolving conflict, calling out injustice and showing the world that it’s not right.
