Nicki Minaj has once again denied having a nose job, while also throwing shade at those who might have had their noses surgically altered to imitate her.
On Tuesday (October 22), Minaj posted a PSA about her nose on Instagram.
“Hey guys, I hope no one changes their nose,” she began. “Dear Chile, I have had a so-called pointed nose since birth, with or without contour, with or without filter, well. My mother told me two things, she said that my nose has a hump. She said That was a witch’s nose, and he said it was from my Indian side.
Nicki Minaj continues, taking another shot at anyone imitating her nose job.
“But I’m still glad I didn’t bother my nose,” she added. “So I hope none of you are going to change your noses in the hope or thinking that I changed mine.”
While it’s unclear who the New York hitmaker is shadowing, some fans think she’s looking down on Megan thee Stallion. They pointed to Nicki Minaj’s “Bigfoot” diss, which included the lyrics “As long as your new nose heals.”
Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj turned her attention to an unnamed business partner after denying she had a nose job, questioning why they weren’t “honest and upfront”.
“You might take away a lot of different things, but I beg you don’t try to take me away [for an] Idiot, okay,” she added. “But why do people find it so difficult to be honest about their business intentions? Why do we always have to play Blue’s Clues?
Nicki Minaj recently opened up about her appearance, admitting she can’t stand looking at photos of herself when she was younger.
“When you hit those milestones of 30, 40, 50, especially as a woman, your confidence just keeps growing,” she said during an appearance in Vogue’s Power of Style last week. “You just start to understand yourself better. When you understand yourself better, you forgive yourself. You are able to love yourself, you are able to love your imperfections that you never loved before.
