Wiz Khalifa is reportedly being sued in Romania for smoking marijuana on stage during a beach performance, please! Festivals all summer long.
Wiz Khalifa indicted
On Monday (October 21), Romania-Insider reported the latest status of the Pittsburgh rapper’s case, noting that Romanian local authorities have decided to prosecute Wiz (real name Cameron Thomaz) for illegal drug use in Constanta court on October 16. It is illegal in Romania. If convicted, the rapper faces three months to two years in prison or a fine, according to news outlets.

Wiz Khalifa arrested in Romania
Wiz Khalifa is one of the headline acts at the Please! festival on the beach on July 13th. He was later released. Romanian police later issued a statement regarding the incident.
“Investigations revealed that during a performance at a music festival in the resort of Costinesti in Constanta County, he was in possession of more than 18 grams of cannabis (a dangerous drug) and smoked another serving of cannabis on stage in the form of a hand-rolled cigarette. ,” the statement read.
Weisz welcomed a baby girl less than two weeks after his arrest, and he addressed the incident on X (formerly Twitter) the next day.
“Last night’s show was amazing,” he wrote. “My shining on stage was not any disrespect to the Romanian country. They were very respectful and let me go. I will be back soon. But no more big ass next time.”
