Snoop Dogg may have just helped countless R&B artists unlock the secret to longevity like Tyrese.
In case you missed it, the 1992 actor can be seen in traffic carefully eating chicken drumstick cartilage fried to perfection using Popeyes Louisiana bread recipe. Behind the tinted windows of the black truck SUV he’s riding in, Tyrese chooses to both promote his upcoming concert and provide the singer with tips for success.
“The real secret to R&B is this muthaf##king Popeyes, you know what I’m talking about,” Tyree says in the video, as a piece of crispy chicken falls from his mouth onto the window of his luxury SUV.

Snoop Dogg quickly caught wind of the video shared by AllHipHop and reposted it to his profile. He wrote in the caption “Two guys can do that” and tagged Tyrese.
Shortly after Snoop re-shared the clip, Popeye also stumbled upon the clip and seemed to double down on Tyrese’s chicken epiphany.
“Popeye will get you hitting a high note or two,” the Louisiana chicken fast food chain commented on the post.
While a game between Snoop Tyrese and Popeyes does seem like fun, it could be if the chicken chain is interested in striking a deal with West Coast-bred multi-hyphenate chickens Hope to act fast considering they are not the only ones he seems to be promoting a chicken based restaurant.
In another clip that Tyree recently shared to his profile, he shared a clip of himself holding a bag after a promotional interview with his late Fast and Furious franchise brother Cory Walker. A clip of a Chick-fil-A bag interrupting a newsroom meeting. Not to mention, artists like Chance The Rapper have collaborated with fast-food staples like chicken finger master Raising Canes, who recently donated $100,000 to the Chicago rapper’s social work youth organization.
Essentially, the gap between hip-hop, R&B, and fried chicken has never been closer to being bridged—so stick with Popeye.
