TI’s son, King Harris, was arrested in Georgia on an outstanding warrant.
King Harris Arrested
The 19-year-old son of the famous Atlanta rapper got into some legal trouble and was taken into custody in Dunwoody, Georgia on Monday (October 14), according to police records obtained by XXL on Thursday (October 17). According to local news station WSB-TV in Atlanta, King was driving a BMW as he left a gas station and nearly hit a police car and was stopped by police.
Officers smelled marijuana in the car and noticed a gun on the teen’s hip. After conducting a background check on King, police discovered he had an open warrant out of Pickens County, Ga., for failure to appear in court.
“I told Mr. Harris that I needed to talk to him outside and opened the driver’s side door,” the arresting officer said in the incident report. “Mr. Harris was cooperative and I had no problem removing the gun from his hip. I then had Mr. Harris exit the vehicle and I handcuffed him and detained him. I escorted Mr. Harris to my patrol car , searched him and put him in the back of my car.
Police found small bags of marijuana in King’s BMW. One of the two passengers in the vehicle was cited for possession of marijuana. King was taken into custody and booked into the DeKalb County Jail in Georgia. He was released on Tuesday (October 15). The reason for the arrest warrant in Pickens County, Georgia, is unclear. Kim was arrested in August 2022 and his photos went viral.
