Glasses Malone clarified that he never had a serious issue with Drake and actually thinks he’s an “extraordinary artist.” After fans dug up an old post of him praising the Toronto rapper on X (formerly Twitter), he addressed the issue on-air. He has previously argued that Drake is not real hip-hop.
“I don’t know why y’all think I don’t like Drake. Drake is the GOAT,” he said. “If I say Problem is better than Drake, it’s not because I think Drake is bad. I think Drake is a phenomenal artist. He’s one of the best artists of all time. This guy is like Madonna. This rapper knows What he’s doing, I’m not going to say something that I don’t think he’s a fool for when I praise my friend, who has since called Drake “the personification of Jewish culture through art.”

Fans on X had mixed reactions to this argument. “Is The Alchemist hip-hop? That Jewish guy from Beverly Hills says he’s one of the greatest producers of all time. How does that work?” one user responded to the clip. Another retorted: ‘It’s crazy to see this. This guy has done so much for hip-hop. I honestly wouldn’t really blame Drake if he stopped rapping. He just started producing/writing.’ The culture’ just doesn’t appreciate his work.
