Cardi B appears to be responding to recent rumors that she cheated on Offset with Houston Texans All-Star wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
The Bronx star called the internet “crazy” while speaking to fans on X Spaces on Wednesday (October 9) and called the rumors “crazy,” but said she has no intention of fighting them at the moment.
“The internet is so crazy. All these rumors are so crazy. That’s why I don’t want to address it because I think it’s funny. I’m just going to let it go because I think it’s cute and funny. I’ll let it go People think what they think.
The rumor was first started by Academician on his Rumble channel earlier this week.
“That’s what I heard… Cardi B found out that Offset did all kinds of bullshit. Basically, when Cardi B was eight months pregnant, Offset went through her phone and found out she was giving her to some dog named Stefon Diggs. Ass n-gga texting some football player,” Ake said during his live broadcast.
He then claimed their relationship was not physical, but their text messages were flirtatious and even sent a photo.
“I heard she wasn’t fucking him, but she was texting n-gga and entertaining n-gga,” he continued. “I heard a photo was sent.”
He added: “That n-gga Offset saw the flirting. In the toxic n-gga mind, you’re fucked. So that’s why the n-gga was like, ‘You’re fucked Stefon Diggs.’
Akademiks previously joked that he knew the identity of the man Cardi allegedly cheated on while Offset was pregnant, claiming it was an NFL star.
Offset originally accused Cardi B of having sex with another man while she was pregnant with their youngest child, who was born last month.
He hopped on his estranged wife’s Instagram Live and commented: “Honestly you fucked a baby in there!!”
The Bronx bombshell didn’t deny the claims, responding: “You know what I find so crazy? A black man thinks they can buy a bitch. I love me to death but you can’t buy me anymore, muthafucka. It’s crazy that a n-gga thinks that’s enough, honey.
She continued: “I think it’s funny that n-ggas think they can have sex over anything, but when I start talking to n-ggas you want to threaten me and take away the shit I’ve worked my fucking hard on . Do you want to play those games with me? Do you want to accept my punishment for leaving? Why can’t you move on?
Cardi later appeared to confirm Offset’s claims, writing on X: “And it’s true!!!!!”
She also admitted that she started talking to other men while she was pregnant on June 24, just weeks before she filed for divorce.
