Rihanna has officially surpassed Taylor Swift to become the world’s richest female musician.

According to the latest news from Forbes on Monday (October 7), Swift’s net worth is currently $1.6 billion, slightly higher than Rih’s $1.4 billion. Swift previously had a net worth of $1.1 billion in October 2023, largely from her Eras Tour, which alone had grossed more than $2 billion as of earlier this year. The world tour, the highest-selling tour ever, started in March last year and will end in December this year.

As for Rih, her net worth is largely due to her Fenty Beauty cosmetics line, which is currently worth approximately $2.8 billion. She also owns a 28% stake in the highly successful Savage x Fenty lingerie line and continues to make money from her records.

Rihanna also brings in endorsement money, most recently becoming the newest face of Dior’s J’Adore Fragrance.

Last month, Rih Rih made her debut in a short film for the luxury brand, directed by Steven Klein, in which she wears a gorgeous gown to the tune of her 2016 hit song “Love on the Brain.” Stroll through the Palace of Versailles, France.

At the end of the video, Rih turns to the camera and says, “Your dreams, make them come true.”

“Discover J’adore’s new film. Powerful, dazzling and inspiring, Rihanna embodies J’adore’s triumphant and free self through the lens of Steven Klein Femininity. “True me and Rihanna, a new golden dream begins. “

Rih became Dior’s first black ambassador in 2015, succeeding the brand’s longtime spokesperson Charlize Theron.

While she’s busy being a boss in her professional life, Rihanna’s personal life seems to be going well, too.

In an in-depth interview published late last month, her costar A$AP Rocky spoke to Billboard about his new music, family life and why he and Rih are such a good match.

“It’s crazy how we find balance in this chaotic schedule,” he said. “[The relationship] It’s going well. I don’t think there’s a more perfect person because she understands it so well when schedules are busy. When your schedule is free, that’s when you can spend money [the] Most of the time together. It’s all understanding and compatibility.

The superstar singer has previously raved about Rocky’s parenting skills and said thinking of him as a father deepened her love and attraction to him.
