Method Man paid tribute to Snoop Dogg, praising him for creating a blueprint for his peers to “transcend” the music industry and thrive in areas other than rap.
In a recent interview, Steven A. Smith asked the Wu-Tang Clan rapper who the “worst” rapper is in the game right now.
“To carry on the tradition, I have to say Snoop Dogg,” said Method Man. “LL COOL J]is right behind him.”:
Mays elaborated that the West Coast icon “doesn’t even have to give up music” because he’s “beyond” titles like “rapper” or “artist.”
“Snoopy is a franchise now,” he added. “He should just be an ambassador for our music, that’s it. Or give courses on how to broaden your horizons, how to master different industries, how to market yourself, because Snoop is doing some incredible things and we’re aiming for 30-plus years.

Method Man teases Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s upcoming album
Method Man recently previewed Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s highly anticipated new album Missionary.
During a recent live “Drink Champs” show, Meth revealed that he and Dre wrote a song together in the mid-2000s but never officially released it.
“Every time I work with Dre, I feel like I need to start over,” he joked, saying that this “chronicity” affects his abilities. “I spit out a verse, but it wasn’t up to my standards and Dre was merciful enough not to put it out. It kind of fucking leaked. The second shot I got was for the upcoming Dre and Co-shot by Snoop…he got a lot of firepower there.
