BlocBoy JB was arrested by the Tennessee Highway Patrol in Memphis earlier that day and is currently facing multiple charges, WREG News Channel 3 reported on Tuesday (October 1). The Memphis-born rapper was found passed out behind the wheel at a busy intersection with his foot on the brake and a gun in his lap, police said.

THP troopers allegedly found JB, born James Lee Baker, asleep in his vehicle with a black Glock handgun in his lap and a bag of marijuana next to him.
Blockboy JB was reportedly arrested and charged with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and possession of marijuana. He was booked into the Shelby County Jail on $7,500 bond. Police also reportedly said JB had a previously suspended license due to a DUI charge.

BlocBoy JB’s past legal issues
BlocBoy JB was reportedly arrested on Tuesday, and it’s not the first time he’s been in legal trouble. In 2019, he was arrested on felony drug and firearms charges in a separate incident. According to Yahoo! Sources say BlocbBoy JB was convicted in 2020 of manufacturing and selling a controlled substance.
