Lil Durk continues to prove himself as one of the most popular rappers in the world. He’s had hit singles, won Grammys, and now he’s gearing up to release his new album, Love Songs 4 the Streets 3. We’ll tell you honestly. The rapper may have the most eclectic, star-studded list of collaborations of any rapper in 2024.
Let’s start with the most surprising features. Lil Durk is always associated with other famous rappers. But no one could have predicted he would star in a Sabrina Carpenter production. Carpenter is one of, if not the breakout star of 2024. It would be fun to hear the sounds they make together. The other names we surprisingly see on Lil Durk’s tracklist aren’t even rappers! iShowSpeed and Kai Cenat are two of the biggest streamers in the world. However, they will appear together on the song “War Scars.” We really don’t know what’s going to happen there.
Lil Durk appears to have ended collaboration with Drake
Where will you go after following pop stars and streamers? Of course it’s the country. Lil Durk is set to join another genre thanks to his collaboration with Morgan Wallen, “Come Home.” Rod Wave also appeared in one of the biggest style shifts of Durk’s entire career. Lil Baby and Future will appear on the songs “Sing this Song” and “Anti Hero” respectively. Although considering Durk’s usual working style, it would have made more sense to include them. Drake was originally supposed to appear on the song “Distontinuing Wockhardt,” but it looks like he was cut from the album version. Since there are other features listed, it’s safe to assume that Drake isn’t just being hidden for dramatic effect.
