I’m sure, For my first project, I ended up asking Top if I could ask Kendrick, or Kendrick himself, and see what happens.
“But I’ll be honest. I don’t think I have the track record for this opportunity right now. I think I have to act a certain way, but I don’t think I’m ready yet.

Although Doechii doesn’t think she’s ready to work with K.Dot, it was recently revealed that she will be working with a completely different type of star.
Earlier this week, it was confirmed that she will be a guest on pop superstar Katy Perry’s new single “I’m His, He’s Mine.”
KP revealed the news on Instagram, posting a high-fashion photo of herself and Swamp Princess.
“I am his and he is mine. @doechii 9/13,” she wrote, confirming that the video will also be released today.
The song will appear on Katie’s new dance-pop album 143, which is due out next week.
It’s been a banner year for Doechii, who released her new mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal late last month. The Florida native is a big fan of her TDE boss Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith, noting that the project makes him feel like the brand’s breakout superstar Kendrick Lamar did in his early days.
“@doechii The alligator bite will never heal now! What are your thoughts and highlights so far? I feel the same way KDOT did when they waived Article 80,” he wrote in an Instagram post. “She’s one of the 4sho!!!”
Top Dawg isn’t the only TDE member to be impressed with Doechii’s new creations, as that’s what ScHoolboy Q has been spinning as well.
“Just saying DOEcHii here…that’s all I care about at the moment,” he wrote on X the day the tape dropped.
