Kendrick Lamar has been announced as the headlining performer for the upcoming Super Bowl LIX halftime show.
Today, Roc Nation, Apple Music and the NFL announced that the APPLE MUSIC SUPER BOWL LIX HALFTIME SHOW will take place on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, and air on Fox. pgLang will provide creative direction for Kendrick’s performance.
“Rap music remains the most influential genre of music ever created. I’ll be there to remind the world why. They found the right thing,” Kendrick said when announcing the big news.
“Kendrick Lamar is truly a once-in-a-lifetime artist and performer. His love for hip-hop and culture reflects his artistic vision. He has an unparalleled ability to define and influence culture around the world. Kendrick’s work transcends of music, his influence will be felt for years to come.

The Apple Music Super Bowl LIX halftime show telecast will be produced by DPS, with Roc Nation and Jesse Collins serving as executive producers and Hamish Hamilton serving as director. Roc Nation will also serve as strategic entertainment consultant for live performances.
