JAY-Z’s Roc Nation has teamed up with the NFL to create a playlist in support of the 2024 football season, featuring songs from Benny The Butcher, Rapsody and more.
Titled “Songs of the Season 2024,” the playlist is described as “a season-long initiative highlighting music from superstars and emerging artists from all genres released through ROC Nation.” The songs will be available across all NFL platforms and will be available during the 2024-2025 season.
“Music is an integral part of everything we do at the NFL, and this year’s season song is about capturing the energy and passion that defines our sport,” NFL music director Seth Dudowsky said in a statement. “We’re excited. “We’re once again partnering with Roc Nation to showcase artists whose music will enhance the fan experience throughout the season, whether you’re at home or at an NFL stadium.”
In addition to Benny’s “BRON” and Rapsody’s “Back In My Bag,” the playlist also features Flau’jae’s hit song “Came Out A Beast,” featuring Lil Wayne. See the full tracklist below.
Benny The Butcher has praised JAY-Z for years for his impact on his career. In 2023, Benny stopped by Math Hoffa’s My Expert Opinion to discuss some advice the Brooklyn icon gave him when he signed a management deal with Roc Nation in 2019.
“The thing about Hoff, man, he’s who he says he is,” Benny said. “Him and Snoop, they remind me of each other. We had a lot of conversations. He told me some things I didn’t want to hear, and he told me some things I did want to hear – just the all-around game.
