Remy Ma, Fat Joe and producers Cool & Dre have released a new collaboration titled “Outta Control”. The track has been out for just over a month, and despite the time that has passed, it’s still making waves. Initially, these bars caused controversy, especially among fiery women. “They said I shot a friend because of the band, then?/Imagine what I’d do to deal with the ab**** I couldn’t stand/Now, I’m on the edge, so don’t push me.” If you’re not familiar, the first line is about the real-life shooting death of Makeda Barnes-Joseph in 2007 by Remy.
The audience was in uproar, wondering why she chose to rap in such a boastful way. Additionally, the July 12 clip also sparked discussion in the community due to the name she used in the credits. Out of Control does not credit her work to Remi Mackey (whom Remi has used since marrying Papoose in 2008), but to Remi Keoni Smith ( Created by Remy Kioni Smith. This happens to be her maiden name, further suggesting that she and her fellow New York MCs are done.

According to HipHopDX , the music video has dropped, and the visual features Remy Ma and her longtime collaborator topless. For Joe Clark, the reception might not be that favorable, but for Ms. Ma, she might catch some men’s eye.
