50 Cent discussed his relationship with Thrones star Omari Hardwick and his controversial comments about working on the show during a recent interview with Gillie Da Kid. 50 began by explaining that Hardwick’s comments about feeling underpaid were not directed at him. He revealed that after the story broke, the actor contacted him via private message, claiming that his comments were misleading. He continued: “At the end of the day, ‘Ghost’ should die when I die. I extended it…The thing about working with 50 Cent is, it’s 50 Cent’s show.”
When “The Neighborhood Talk” shared 50 comments on Instagram, fans took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the matter. “I hate that you guys are so slow. He didn’t say he didn’t want to pay him, which obviously Starz didn’t, and instead of killing him when they originally wanted to kill him, he extended it to season five. Simple,” one user wrote. Another had a different take, writing: “But he is the face of the show and the network. It’s not like a regular character. When you think of the show, you automatically think of him!”

As for Hardwicke’s criticism, he complained about Thrones’ ending while speaking at a group at the Tribeca Film Festival. “I support you in that sense, guys, and I also agree that the way you pitched and told this story to me didn’t fit the ending of it. So you all have the right to be like, ‘That’s not the ending,'” he said. “Because we don’t respect our fans enough, and I know that me, Matt and Trey are different. We respect you guys and we respect our fans, man. We often forget that the fans are being sold and telling a story it has a origin, and it must end the way it was sold.
