Since Blueface turned himself in for a probation violation in January, fans haven’t heard anything from Jaidyn Alexis, the mother of his first two children. The rapper appears to have rekindled his romance with the mother of his third child, Chrisean Rock, who is also in jail. Earlier this month he was sentenced to four years in prison, but that doesn’t appear to have hampered Jedyn’s music career.
Today, she debuts her new song “Mommiana” and its accompanying music video. The video was shared on YouTube via Blueface’s channel, who shared a promotional clip from it earlier today. Interestingly, he plays a football player and she plays a cheerleader in the film. It’s unclear if this is a direct endorsement of Kerrian’s efforts in football, but fans certainly have their suspicions.
Jaidyn Alexis Drops Another Powerful Single
At the end of the film, Jadine calls for Blueface to be released. It wasn’t previously clear where the two stood considering his reunion with Collison, but this seems to confirm that they are on good terms. The song itself is reminiscent of Jaidyn’s other work, such as “Barbie,” with its playful bars and Blueface’s harmonies. Fans are excited to see Jaidyn getting back into her music, as she hasn’t dropped anything new in months.
After Blueface’s verdict was announced, she clarified on Instagram Live that while she wasn’t happy that Blueface was temporarily away from her family, she still had to work to support them. “You all annoy me sometimes,” she explained. “Why are you so happy? B***h, I’m working. This is work. Talking about it makes me sick. Someone has to do it…sometimes I think y’all don’t realize real life is Happening in real time.
