Lil Yachty has caused confusion among fans with some strange social media activity involving Drake.
On Tuesday (August 20), eagle-eyed fans noticed that Yachty had unfollowed Drizzy, with whom he has become a close friend and collaborator in recent years, on Instagram.
The move sparked speculation that the two had a falling out, and soon after, Lil Boat seemed to be paying attention to Drake again.
Drake is also someone Lil Yachty has been following on the social media platform recently, which means he has indeed unfollowed the “Another Late Night” collaborator.

If you unfollow Drake and click on Yachty’s follow, it will show that Drake is his most recent follow (recently followed Instagram orders). He 100% unfollowed him. pic.twitter.com/NEWvabpxtG

While it’s unclear if there are issues between the two, Lil Yachty unfollowed Drake shortly after reports surfaced that 6 God planned to release their leaked song “Super Soak” as a solo track.
“I heard it’s coming out soon, along with a music video,” Akademiks claimed during his Rumble livestream earlier this week. “Now, something interesting is going on here. I heard the track “Super Soak” is coming out soon, and it will include a music video. One thing to note: there’s no Lil Yachty on it.
“It confuses me a little bit […] Because it was originally a Yachty song. Drake sent it to Yachty for display on Yachty’s Concrete [Boys] project.
“By the way, this is not a source from Drake. I have multiple other sources besides Drake. Drake doesn’t even know I’m telling you all this.
“I saw something that might have been a music video and it oddly matched the silhouette I saw on Drake’s post,” Ak added, before pulling out a photo of the rapper’s new haircut.
“Super Soak” has generated quite a bit of controversy since Kai Cenat premiered it on his Twitch channel last month, with Soulja Boy believing Drake took a shot at him during the song.
Drizy raps: “I’m watching the action, playing up close/SOD, super soaked.”
The quote, which appears to be an overt reference to Soulja’s label Stacks on Deck and his 2007 song “Super Soak,” came after Big Draco mocked Drake on social media for his loss to Kendrick Lamar.
Soulja hit back at this clear act of discrimination in a vicious rant on Instagram Live, saying: “Drake, you better keep it down my boy. This is your first and only warning. If you’re older Yell, that’s great. If you try to disrespect me or secretly look down on me in any way, kid, that’s not the best idea for you, fam.
Surja later revealed that he and Drizzy had cleared up the misunderstanding and that it was all a misunderstanding.
