YG has clarified speculation that he accused girlfriend Saweetie of infidelity.
The drama started on Tuesday (August 13) when the Compton rap star shared a cryptic post on his Instagram Stories that included lion and cheetah emojis.
Many interpreted this as YG accusing his girlfriend and collaborator of being a liar and a liar, especially in light of their recent fight.
However, according to the 4Hunnid hitmaker, that was not his intention at all.
In a follow-up post on Wednesday (August 14), YG clarified on X (formerly Twitter): “I was at the zoo with the kids. Stop Cap.
Videos of YG spending quality time with his children at the zoo also surfaced on social media, which he posted on Instagram Stories before animal emojis.
Saweetie has yet to comment on the confusion.

The hip-hop power couple were rocked by more drama last week when reports surfaced that police were called to their Los Angeles home following a heated argument.
According to TMZ , the disagreement happened on Saturday (August 11) and stemmed from “some cell phone drama” and police had to separate the two rappers.
However, police eventually determined that no one was involved in a physical altercation, and after making sure both men were calm, YG and Saweetie were left alone. Non-criminal reporting is considered part of the agreement.
The California natives have been dating on and off since April 2023, during which time Saweetie was involved in a feud between her ex-boyfriend Quavo and Chris Brown, the R&B singer claims, when He had sex with her while she was in a relationship with Chris Brown.
In his vicious diss track “Weakest Link,” Brown addressed Quavo’s rumored affair with ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran and in turn made explosive accusations of his own, rapping: “You fucked my ex, that’s cool , I ain’t no fuck, lil n-gga/Cause I fucked your ex while you were with her, bitch, I’m up, lil n-gga.
Quavo himself previously hinted that Saweetie was unfaithful to him on his 2022 song “Messy,” leading to speculation that she slept with his cousin and former Migos partner Offset.
