After a heated argument with Saweetie over the weekend, YG posted a cryptic post on Instagram using emojis.
YG Seems to Only Use Emojis to Address Fierce Argument with Saweetie
On Tuesday (August 13), YG posted what appeared to be a vague response to his recent altercation with girlfriend Saweetie on his Instagram Story. In the since-deleted IG post below, the Compton rapper didn’t express himself with images or words. Instead, he used an emoji depicting a lion and one depicting a cheetah.
The general consensus among social media commenters on The Shade Room’s post is that YG’s emojis imply that Saweetie lied about something, or maybe even cheated on him.
One Instagram user commented: “You are a lying, cheating son… everyone knows the Nivea song.”
Others chimed in with comments such as “Calling sister ‘lion cheetah'” and “Imagine a grown man replacing you with a jungle cat emoji.”
One fan who was particularly emoji-savvy suggested that YG should use additional emojis to further illustrate his point. “He needs to add a peach to it, haha. Lion, cheetah!” they added.

What happened between YG and Saweetie?
YG’s mysterious use of emojis comes just days before an incident in which an argument between him and Saweetie reportedly got so intense that police were called in to intervene. According to TMZ , the couple’s heated argument, which was believed to have started over mobile phones, was settled on Saturday (August 10). After separating YG and Saweetie, the police determined that they had not committed a crime and there was no physical altercation.
