Lauryn Hill was mocked by fellow Fugee Pras after she announced she was canceling the group’s US tour.
In a new song called “Bar Mitzfa,” Plath appears to take aim at Ms. Hill’s canceled tour, saying: “Don’t blame me, blame her, she made a mess/I told him, Not a fucking penny” Clive. “
The song was obtained by TMZ, who say it was recorded after Hill announced the Fugees would no longer tour North America and blamed the media for low ticket sales.
Plath appeared to continue to air his issues with Hill on his Instagram Stories, writing: “No one will remember the clickbait beef, your salary, how many Gucci bags you own, and the false excuses. People Will remember: if you keep your word, if they can trust you, if you come on time, how you make them feel!

The 18-show tour, set to celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, was canceled days before it was scheduled to begin on August 7, leaving Lauryn Fans of both Lauryn Hill and The Fugees were upset (but not entirely shocking given her reputation) by showing up late or abandoning the show.
Soon after, Hill explained the cancellation and accused the media of “sensation” for hurting ticket sales.
“We have made the difficult decision to postpone our upcoming North American tour dates. UK and European shows are proceeding as planned.
“Last year, I got injured and had to reschedule some shows,” she added, referring to her damaged vocal cords. “Unfortunately, some media outlets’ penchant for sensationalism and clickbait appears to have created a narrative that impacted ticket sales for the North American portion of the tour.
“My trust and belief in my intentions and commitment to my art appear to have been overshadowed by this unfortunate portrayal.”
Hill continued: “Not only have UK and European audiences yet to see the Miseducation anniversary show, they haven’t seen The Runaways perform together for over 25 years!
“Performing for my fans is a profound exchange of energy and emotion that gets me excited every time. Every show is an expression of me and a testament to our connection and shared love of music. I can promise you, No one was more disappointed than me about not being able to perform.
She concluded by saying, “Know that I am not only grateful for those who appreciate and support my art, but I also strive to overcome all kinds of resistance and bring together experiences that are meaningful to us all. I am delighted to be able to serve you Bring on these shows!
“I appreciate your understanding. We look forward to October shows in the UK and Europe – and for fans in North America – when these unforeseen circumstances are resolved, we will be back in full force… with love, respect and honesty, MLH”.
Prior to the release of Bar Mitzfa, Plath took issue with Lauryn Hill’s statement, cryptically telling TMZ: “I saved her reputation for 20 years by not telling her story, but alas… the secret is gone. leaked.
