Vail is back. The DC rapper launches the Every Blue Moon tour, which will launch in September and run through November. Wales announced the news in style, posting a video of, you guessed it, him standing in front of a blue moon. The rapper also previewed an instrumental from a brand new song. No title is provided, and Will doesn’t let us hear the chorus, but it’s a safe bet that the song will appear on his upcoming eighth album. Tickets go on sale Friday 16th August.

Wells’ tour announcement means more than it first appears. The rapper has been out of the spotlight for quite some time. His last album was 2021’s Folarin’ II, and he hasn’t given up too many guest verses in the years since. There are several reasons. First, Ware claimed he suffered some lingering effects from his battle with the coronavirus in 2020. “That’s true,” he told The Breakfast Club. “It feels like you’re smoking too much. For me, it was all heightened because I had legitimate issues like anxiety.” He also noted that his introverted personality led to him not using social media for more than a year. Group media.

Wales will celebrate the anniversary of his debut album

Every Blue Moon tour will be a special one for the rapper and his fans. Not only will this provide Wale with the opportunity to promote his upcoming album, but it will also celebrate his 2009 debut album, Attention Deficit. According to Live Nation , the rapper will perform select songs from the album to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the album’s release. Will’s feelings about the album have changed a lot over the years. Attention Deficit didn’t do well commercially, and the rapper felt his music suffered because of his attempts to go “mainstream.” He ultimately came to terms with the album and its place in his catalog.

“I think the music industry was in a very polarized state at the time,” Ware told The Washington Post in 2019. He now considers Attention Deficit to be a better and bolder album than its reputation would suggest. album. “Songs like ‘90210,’ ‘Pretty Girls’ — I was one of the first people to put Gucci Mane on an album,” the rapper noted. “It was different, especially as a new artist with actual go-go samples. Weir told the outlet that he was finally able to separate the quality of the album from the poor sales. “To be honest, I didn’t think about it anymore. So many.
