Rick Ross sued over lack of wheelchair access at car show
Rick Ross is being sued by a disabled man who claims he was unable to attend the Miami rapper’s 2024 car despite having tickets, TMZ reported on Friday (August 9) and bike shows. Rozai’s annual car show is held on June 1 at his spacious property in Fayetteville, Georgia, known as the “Promised Land.”
Darris Straughter, who wore a business suit and uses a wheelchair, said he was happy to attend Rose’s event but did not have any transportation. Despite claiming to have received multiple assurances that a wheelchair-accessible shuttle would be provided, a vehicle never came to pick him up.
Darris claimed he sold his car just to get tickets to the Rick Ross Car and Bike Show and to pay for his own travel and lodging. He also claimed that he contacted the venue two weeks in advance to inform them that he needed wheelchair access. Daris insists organizers told him they would have a shuttle bus take him from the parking lot to Rozai’s event.
Darris and his lawyer, Mr John Hoover, claim organizers promised to refund anyone who did not attend the event, but they claim no one followed up with them. Darius is suing Rick Ross for breach of contract, unjust enrichment and violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. He is seeking compensation and assurances that Rose’s annual event will be accessible to people with disabilities in the future.

Rick Ross’ car and bike show faces backlash
Despite the huge success of Rick Ross’ 2024 Car and Bike Show, a large number of attendees were unhappy with how they were treated during the event.
According to Rozay, more than 12,000 people attended the event. However, many people complained about waiting five hours or more to board a shuttle to the event. Some people were allegedly denied access to the event.
“The reality is you sell tickets but people traveling more than 7+ hours are not able to get in and are turned away! This is bad business and will never support this again,” one person said at Rose’s Bikes and Auto Show Instagram account wrote.
Another netizen commented: “Due to the shuttle service and the long queue, I didn’t get a chance to get in. I spent my hard earned money and was very disappointed.”
