After a long time, Pusha T has just revealed the title of his upcoming Clipse album in a rather interesting way, might we add.
The official announcement appears to be part of a Denim Tears x Clipse merch post on Instagram, and is low-key as far as “announcements” go. But maybe this is how King Push wants to move forward with this project, and no matter what, we’ll work hard for it!
Titled “Let God Sort Em Out,” the album is expected to be the duo’s most personal project to date — especially if “Birds Don’t Sing” is any indication. Produced by Pharrell, the song delves into Pusha and No Malice’s personal verses, as the brothers talk about their parents with overwhelming sensitivity and an impeccable sense of storytelling. It’s the perfect song to usher in a new spiritual era for Clipse, which will see its sonic expression on the upcoming album produced by Pharrell.
Interestingly, the album, titled Birds Don’t Sing, was secretly teased a month before the now-famous Louis Vuitton show, where we heard Birds Don’t Sing for the first time. Some of the merchandise released to promote the Paris show reportedly featured the album title in bold, with a small disclaimer at the bottom that read “work in progress.” Now, we finally know what that is, and we can’t wait to see what other Easter eggs the brothers might have in store for us with this project. stay tuned!
