50 Cent and Keith Sweat had a heated exchange about the singer’s plans to attend 50’s Humor & Harmony Weekend as well as Keith’s upcoming event in New York.

50 Cent and Keith Sweat got into a heated argument on Instagram over 50 Cent’s attendance at 50’s Humor & Harmony Weekend event in Shreveport, Louisiana, from August 8 to 11. Sweat was originally scheduled to perform at the 50 Cent & Friends concert on August 10, but that may not happen now.
On Friday (July 26), 50 Cent posted a video on his Instagram of himself talking to his assistant, who told him that Keith Sweat wanted to perform in New York City on August 3 50 points will be awarded at the event, where Mayor Eric Adams will present the singer with the prestigious “Key to the City” honor. Sweat said he wouldn’t have performed at the Louisiana event if 50 hadn’t shown up. 50 explains that he can’t come, and jokes that Mayor Adams is handing him the keys to the city that Dee Dee returned.
“@keithsweat tripped, [laughing emoji] On August 3rd, he got Diddy’s key to the city[.] They blocked the streets of Harlem for him. Now, if he doesn’t show up in Shreveport, we’re no longer with him.
Keith Sweat heard about the ’50s clip and posted his own video on his Instagram page. The R&B veteran spoke to 50 and said that if Fif doesn’t attend the Aug. 3 event in New York, Keith will appear at 50’s Louisiana show via Zoom.
In the clip below, the R&B singer performs the 1999 ’50s song “How to Rob,” a New York rhyme song that threatens to rob Keith by showing off “his nine barrels.” Keith wrote in the caption: “Hey if I were to reply to you I would definitely not come to Shreveport right now. All I remember is you saying this the other day. I’ll see you in NYC on August 3rd you.
Hours later, 50 Cent reported on Keith’s video and reinforced his previous comments, but still asked the “Make It Last Forever” singer to attend his event.

50 Cent’s Humor & Harmony Weekend Festival will showcase a star-studded lineup of comedians and rappers. On August 8, 50 Cent will host the Big Bowl Comedy Show, starring comedians such as Bill Bellamy, Katt Williams, Michael Blackson, and Andrew Schulz. Additionally, artists Moneybagg Yo and Muni Long are scheduled to perform.
The 50 Cent & Friends concert on August 10th will feature an A-list lineup of rappers and R&B singers. The bill includes rhymers such as 2 Chainz, Skilla Baby, Cam’ron, French Montana and more, as well as R&B artists such as Al B. Sure, Monica, Dave Hollister, Keith Sweat and more.
