Ice Cube spoke about Diddy’s ongoing legal crisis, which includes a string of sexual assault cases.
During a recent interview with Yankees minority owner Patrick Bet-David on the PBD Podcast, Ice Cube opened up about his past work with the Bad Boy Entertainment founder , and shared his thoughts on the recent series of sexual assault allegations against him. Ice Cube initially recalled his brief professional interaction with Diddy, recalling his time working with him on the East Coast early in his career.
“He produced some records, or had his producers record some of them on my War and Peace album,” he said. “We flew to New York and I was mostly in the studio with his producer.”
While he noted that they were great to work with and said that his experience with Diddy was very positive, he did make it clear that he never attended any of the so-called “crazy” parties and claimed that he had none with Diddy touch.
He added, “I really lost touch with him and stopped dealing with Puffy around ’94.”

Ice Cube didn’t hold back when Bate David asked him how he personally feels about the recent accusations and whether he’s surprised by the legal trouble Diddy is facing.
“How could you be surprised by what’s happening in hip-hop?” he said. “Hip-hop is like the Wild West, so you’re going to have good things and you’re going to have bad things. You’re going to have ugly things.
Despite the turmoil in the industry, Ice Cube said he believes there’s more to things than meets the eye. The conversation quickly turned into candid revelations, with Cooper providing some eye-opening insights into why he believes Diddy is being “targeted” by someone who may be more powerful than him.
“I believe he was targeted,” asserted Ice Cooper, delving into a theory circulating in the music industry.
“I believe someone has the ability to pull the trigger and make the domino effect happen,” he added.
However, Ice Cube denied it when asked about Suge Knight’s claims that Diddy’s inappropriate behavior stemmed from the coaching he allegedly received from music industry veteran Clive Davis this guess.
“I don’t know enough to even be specific about these things,” he said. “It’s just all speculation. I just know he was calm in a way and then things started happening. So I’m sure someone, like I said, said, ‘Yo, he’s our new guy. We’re going to continue This year, or whatever.
The details are shocking as Diddy faces mounting legal challenges. Multiple women have come forward with accusations of sexual assault, painting a picture of the music mogul’s tragic past. His homes in Miami and Los Angeles were recently raided by federal agents, who uncovered evidence that could further implicate him.
Didi currently faces at least seven sexual assault cases. Specific accusations ranging from sexual misconduct to more serious accusations of rape have rocked the entertainment industry. Diddy is still dealing with the fallout from the release of a 2016 video of an abusive hotel incident with ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, with whom he reached a deal earlier this year Multi-million dollar lawsuit settlement.
