Quavo has been teasing a sequel to his joint album with Travis Scott for some time now, and it looks like the project may be arriving in the near future.
The former Migos rapper previewed a snippet of a new song with La Flame on his Instagram Story on Monday (July 8) on a boat in Miami.
In the subsequent story, he only left the mark of “HJ2” (probably Huncho Jack 2) on the water.

Back in February, Quavo previewed a song at Travis Scott’s Super Bowl party in Las Vegas, although he didn’t reveal when the song would be released.
When Instagram blog Our Generation Music shared a clip of the moment on their page, Quavo used side-eye and rocket emojis in the comments section to get fans even more excited.
Last year, he responded to an Instagram post celebrating Travis Scott’s achievements while subtly hinting at the release of a new version, writing: “That’s the next loading tuff… The battery has sufficient power.
“Huncho Jack sleeping on shit is awesome,” one person responded to the subtle statement, while another added: “OMG come on we need Scott then I Can Die in Peace Quavo was in his prime and had a lot of hype, but I’d also really like to see a Travis × Don Toliver project.
In late 2017, Quavo and Scott collaborated to release “Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho”. Commercially, the project was a hit, debuting at number three, beating Eminem’s revival.
The album generated a total of 89,775 album-equivalent sales (16,561 pure albums, 105,321,887 streams) and was hailed as an overall success, with features from Offset, Takeoff, Murda Beatz, Southside, Buddha Bless and Cardo.
In a 3.4/5 review for HipHopDX, Aaron McKrell wrote: “Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho delivers exactly what fans have come to expect from two of trap’s hottest rappers. Soaring robot-beat tunes? Check it out. Endless bragging? Check it out. A seamless blend of vocoder-tinged vocals and swaggering music streaming? Check, check, Nike Swoosh.
“But don’t expect a structured, meticulous project. Instead, it feels like the La Flame and Migos leaders walked into the studio, got high on weed, and all the goodness burst out. Often, this relaxed vibe makes up for the solid Lack of lyrical content.
