“I’m not an activist or anything, so I don’t like doing this kind of thing,” he began. “But every time I performed at home, the fire department or the Detroit police would always come and stop me. I was already like, I didn’t even know what I was doing, but they always put me down.
“I met a police officer who was always picking on me. His name was Lieutenant Rue. I think his real name was Lieutenant Dan Rue or something. Every event I went to, he was always trying to get kicked out.
The rapper, who goes by the name of Trevon Gardner, recounted multiple incidents in which Rue sabotaged his plans, including one where he allegedly called Skilar a “gang member” and a “murderer” to prevent him from attending Events at Ford Field.
“I just poured into my city,” Skylar Barbie said angrily. “I deleted people’s records. I gave my house away and they didn’t respect me. I’m only 25. My boy, Lieutenant Lu, you’re crazy. I just want Lieutenant Lu to realize this. Lieutenant Lu. You’re crazy. I won’t lie.
He added, “I can’t beat you. You’re a police officer, do you feel me? There’s nothing I can do. I can’t tell you. I’m not going to tell you. I think the next thing I’m going to do is sue the city.” Govt. So I’m gonna sue the DPD for keeping him in my event, man. I’m gonna sue the city.
