The 2024 BET Awards has invited some of rap’s biggest stars to perform, including Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla.

The annual BET Awards were held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday (June 30), with Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla appearing to perform separately or together. Megan kicked off this year’s awards with performances of her singles “Hiss,” “BOA” and “Rattle.” The performance comes after the Houston hottie released her latest Megan’s album on Friday (June 28).
GlorRilla then took the stage and treated the audience to songs “Yeah Glo” and “TGIF.” Meghan then joined Glo on stage to perform their collaborative song “Wanna Be.”

Female rappers dominate 2024 BET Awards performances
The ladies dominated this year’s BET Awards. Cardi B, Doja Cat, Big Glo, Meg, Ice Spice, Latto, Nicki Minaj and sexyy red are all nominated for Best Female Hip Hop Artist. Glo, Meg, Ice Spice, Latto and sexy Red are expected to perform at the event. Other actors confirmed to appear include Will Smith and Lauryn Hill. Cardi B performed at the BET Experience event on Saturday (June 29). Her set went viral after she lashed out at the production team over issues that occurred during filming.
