Duane “Keefe D” Davis, who is accused of plotting the murder of rap icon Tupac Shakur, is being held on $750,000 bail by Wack 100. , the judge refused to release him.
Wack 100 to pay Keefe D’s bail
The latest hearing in the Tupac Shakur murder case was held on Tuesday (June 25) in the Clark County District Court in Nevada before Judge Carli Kierny. During the hearing, Kierny heard arguments from the defense and prosecution that Keefe D was released after Wack 100 paid bail.
Wack confirmed to the judge that he used funds from his company, 100 Entertainment, to pay $112,500 to free Keefe D on bail. When asked about his relationship with Keefe D, Wacker said: “I’ve known him since he passed away. I’ve known his son. When he had cancer, we sat down a few times and talked about generally personal things. .
“He has been a landmark figure in our community,” Wacker added. “I’ve helped several people in our community, whether it’s funerals, or bailouts.”

Judge refuses to release Keef D
According to CBS News, the judge in the case ultimately refused to immediately release Keef D after prosecutors successfully argued that the motivation for paying Keef D’s bail was to have him appear in some kind of series produced by Wacker. They even showed a VladTV interview in which Wacker said these exact words. The judge barred Keefe D from profiting from the case.
Keefe D was arrested last September after his home was raided two months earlier. Police charged him with murder with a deadly weapon with intent to promote, further or assist a criminal street gang.
Police believe Keefe obtained the weapon used to kill Tupac and was present at the Las Vegas shooting. Three other men present at the shooting are believed to have died, including Orlando Anderson, nephew of accused shooter Keefe D, who was killed in 1998. Thought to be retaliation for Anderson being jumped by members of Tupac and Death.
