Elliott Wilson said Kendrick Lamar jokingly labeled him a “rat” while playing with him in Los Angeles on Saturday. The hometown rapper was outside recording the music video for “Not Like Us” when Wilson detailed the confrontation on X (formerly Twitter). He wrote: “Kendrick patted me and whispered ‘You’re a rat.'” I [heart emoji] hip hop. ha! #compton.
Wilson then retweeted several responses to the post. One user joked: “Then you told us all.” Another wrote: “Dot really watched everything! This is how you fight your opponent. This fight will be studied. What a treat A piece of art.” Others praised Lamar for having a good sense of humor about the situation.

Lamar’s quote was apparently a reference to an interview Wilson had with Joe Budden, in which he revealed that Drake accused him of feeding Lamar information. While discussing the situation, they explained that they were both in Venice at the same time. “I think he started to think that you were in Venice like Kendrick was in Venice, just like he started to think that I was really against him,” he explained at the time. “So when he dropped Family Matters, I was like ‘Yo, are you dropping this tonight?’ and he hit me back and was like, ‘Yeah, yeah, whatever, haha,’ and then he sent me A mouse emoji.
