ASAP Rocky has announced the release date for his long-delayed new album Don’t Be Dumb.
Rocky announced at the last minute that he would launch a collection under creative agency AWGE at Paris Fashion Week. “I just try to encapsulate all my experiences, everything I’ve learned, everything I’ve experienced about social issues and the social climate in America. I think fashion is an expression. It’s about expressing how you feel. This is no different. I think every great creative director, designer, artist, they always have a good balance between conceptualization and presentation,” he told GQ.
“I think hip-hop is a ghetto expression. I believe urban dress styles, mannerisms, swagger, energy, a lot of it comes from ghetto expressionism,” he continues.
Coinciding with the album release, Rocky revealed that he will release a new album on August 30.
Multiple versions of the album are now available for pre-order on his official website.
